A Poem for Papa

Unconditional love you gave me,

Your strength disciplined me,

With your every command I choose to obey,

That made me who I am today.

We had shared many moments in life,

Since I was young, you’re always there,

Protecting me from any foes,

And for being my knight and shining armor.

You’re my first Romeo that touched my hand,

You’re my first date better that my second,

You’re my first kiss sweeter than a sugar,

You’re my first hug warmer than the sun.

Thank you for teaching me how to bike,

And for dribbling the ball and how to pass,

For letting me know whenever I’m wrong,

I love you so much, my one-in-a-million dad.
