Yod's Diablog..: Travel back

This blog is almost two years already, but as you can see, it does not have so much content compared to other blogs and most of my entries here are stories and poems I made. That is because I have been so busy in my studies that I don’t even have time to edit my blog. Until one day, it came into my mind to bring it to life again.

Like most of the blogs, I want to put an entry about myself….yes..myself..(corny ). It’s just, I want to make an article about myself (happy face). Also I want to tell other people (if they happen to pass in my blog) how happy I am with my family in spite of problems and shortcomings in life. Maybe this is the thing I am most boastful about to expose. So now I have to start with the very basic. :))

My name is Johnsan Suminguit Catugal, an Electronics Engineering student in a state university.

My dearest mother gave birth to me on the 20^th of January 1993. So that simply means that I am currently 19 years old. I was born in Cotabato City.

My mother’s name is Violeta Salac-Suminguit-Catugal. She is from Maria, Siquijor and my father is Sansin Gom-os Catugal and he is from Liloy, Zamboanga del norte.

I have four siblings, three sisters and one little brother. My oldest sister is Yolesan (currently married and has 3 daughters), followed by Christine Joy (married too and has two sons). Next is Catherine (engaged I think) then me and then followed by our youngest John Carlo.

Well as I describe myself I am simple, friendly, optimistic, funny, smart (love your own, haha), versatile, peace-lover…and the list continues.

Physically, I am 5 feet and 5 inches tall, 65 kilos and blood type O (tentative blood type :D).

Some of my friends say that I have nice pair of eyes and have a white set of teeth.

In terms of clothing, I am not that choosy with my clothes. As long as I am comfortable with it yet presentable, then that’s it. Of all the foods that exist, I love eating chocolates, chocolates and still chocolates.

I don’t hang out that much. I seldom go to mall or downtown.

I have a lot of friends, personal friends not that one in facebook. We do go out together at night buying foods or anything we want, eating pizza, or just have a walk to grasp some air.

About my studies, well I am not in the mood to talk about it, hahahaha, since it is subject to change as I could see it. Today, I may be depressed about it but the next day I may be happy about it. It is complicated. But back in elementary, I use to be an honor student and in high school, I’m also an honor student but as I reached fourth year, I became just an ordinary student :D.

About my relationship with my family, I think being far from them during my college years helped me to get close to them especially to my parents. We use to talk in the phone more often compared when I was in high school. I could now even crack jokes to them and show them tenderness.

Back in high school, I am already close with my siblings, and during my colleges years, they become my talk mate whenever I come home during vacations and my little brother is my punch mate.

My father do this to all my nieces and nephews when they are still young. For him, this helps a child to stand and also helps them exercise their knees.

In my nieces and nephews, I am very close with them also. I really try hard to bring them “pasalubong” or even treat them whenever I get home. I consider them as my sons and daughters too. They are also my inspiration to study hard to reach my dreams for them. I even want to send them in the most beautiful school in college. I want them to study whatever course they want.
